A company specialising in supplying and maintaining machinery in Agriculture, Arboriculture, Construction and Groundcare industries, is seeking a Service Engineer in or around the Reading area. The Engineer will be servicing, repairing, diagnosing, and doing warranty work on the client’s range of products at their customer sites around Berkshire. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in diesel engines, transmissions, electrics and hydraulics; however training would be provided for an individual with the right technical mind-set. Fully expensed vehicle is also provided.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting PPM and reactive maintenance
- Ability to identify faults and conduct the necessary repairs
- Carry out planned maintenance
- Liaise with the customer to identify needs and future requirements
Person Specification:
Essential:
- Mechanical time served apprenticeship or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills
- Customer facing skills
- Enjoy fault-finding and finding solutions
- Quick learner and motivated
- Clean and current UK driving licence
Desirable:
- Extensive knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, electrics and hydraulics
Hours:
39hrs p/w
Salary:
£22,000 - £28,000 DOE + overtime
