Our client is a world leader in travel for the 18-35s and is seeking multiple skilled drivers to provide safe coach driving for its tours across Europe. Tours vary in length from 10 days to 46 days all accommodation is covered while on tour, as is all breakfasts and dinners. As a self-employed Coach Driver you will be a people person and be able to work well with others. A clean and current driving licence is necessary while ideally you will have a PCV/Cat. D licence and CPC qualification; but their extensive training programme can include attaining these qualifications.
Applications from ex-military personnel (British Army, Royal Air Force, Royal Navy and Royal Marines) are strongly encouraged.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving passengers legally and safely across Europe
- Be in charge of the passengers’ safety
- Monitor vehicle safety
- Provide assistance to any passengers with difficulties to get on and off
- Ensure cleanliness of the vehicle is kept to a high standard during duties
Person Specification:
- Hold a UK or EU Passport
- Hold a clean and current UK driving licence
- (desirable) Hold a clean and valid coach licence (PCV/category D)
- (desirable) Hold CPC qualification
- Have excellent people skills
- Fluent English skills
- Excellent team work skills
- Have a genuine desire to succeed
- Be passionate about travel and adventure
- Be enthusiastic and motivated
- Be responsible and professional at all times
Salary:
Daily rate is €100 for the first year
