Proud and established Regional Company looking for an experienced PCV / HGV Engineer in Wiltshire who can work the Day Shift within one of the largest passenger transport providers in the UK. Offering good salary, on-going training and career path development. This is a Permanent role.

With its continued success and growth, it has now become part of a larger transport group, however it has kept its strong local links and has maintained its Headquarters in Wiltshire.
The company is currently seeking skilled PCV / HGV Engineers to be based at their workshop depot in Wiltshire, keeping the fleet of bus and coaches on the road and maintained during the day. The position is permanent.
Part of a PCV / HGV engineering team working in a busy workshop depot, helping to keep a fleet of 130 buses and coaches in tip top condition.
The Day Shift involves working Monday to Friday, 8am - 4.30pm (although on one day TBA you will only work until 3.30pm to make it a 39 hour working week).
You will need excellent diagnostic skills as well as the ability to carry out routine servicing through to major fault repairs.
Knowledge and Skills:
To be successful in this role you must be an accomplished PCV / HGV Engineer or Technician with practical experience supported by a City and Guilds / NVQ level 3 qualification or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
The role would suit a candidate with a proven track record working within this role, ideally in Public Transport / Coach Environment (Engineer, Technician and/or Mechanic).
Excellent diagnostic skills are required as well as the ability to carry out routine servicing through to major fault repairs.
In this position, you will require a full, clean driving licence (PCV experience would be an advantage but is not essential).
What`s on Offer:
Basic salary for a PCV / HGV Engineer is £11.72 per hour, based on 39 hours per week, would be an equivalent of £23,768.16 annual basic salary.
Working days are Monday - Friday, 8am - 4.30pm (although on one day TBA you will only work until 3.30pm to make it a 39 hour working week).
You will receive 5 weeks including bank and public holidays (may include days off in lieu when a bank holiday).
A company pension and free travel for you and your partner/spouse/nominee on the Company network.
Alternatively, there are evening late shifts available if you prefer.
