HQ5369 Contracts Manager
Location: Leeds (Nationwide)
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 DOE (+ company car)
An exciting opportunity has become available to work for the leading supplier of modular space and a leading global business services provider focused on modular space, secure portable solutions and remote workforce accommodation management. The business now operates a network of 40 depot locations where accommodation and storage units are prepared for rental or sale and are refurbished as required.
The Contracts Manager will work closely with the Commercial and Design teams to complete projects on time with a quality finish and maximise profits and will report directly to the Construction Manager.
Applications from Ex-Military Personnel (British Army, Royal Air Force, Royal Navy and Royal Marines) are strongly encouraged
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that all key deadlines are achieved.
- Ensuring quality of work is of a very high standard.
- Establish good relationships with clients and all key stakeholders with a view to securing repeat business.
- Strict control and adherence for all Health and Safety matters
- Manage Clients expectations
- Coordinate the design
- Manage subcontractors and coordinate the works
- Programme the works
- Chair meetings
- To work in a safe and sensible manner within the boundaries of the Company Health & Safety Policy
Key factors for Success:
- Ensuring all allocated projects are completed on time to a good standard and within budget
- Projects are completed to complete full satisfaction of the Client
- Gain full knowledge on company processes and policies
- Demonstrate how profits have been maximised
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- Have worked in the role or similar for a Mainstream Contractor
- Have managed contracts between £1 - £10M in value with a reputable contractor
- Have proven experience and the ability to work effectively with internal and/or external customers
- Qualified to a degree level, min HND
- Be a member of CIOB or working towards Corporate Membership
- CSCS Card
- Must have CITB `SMSTS` - Site Managment Safety Training Scheme Certificate

- £50,000 - £55,000 DOE + company car
