HQ5411 Electrical/Mechanical Engineer
Location: Brandon, Suffolk
Salary: £43,290 per annum + Overtime available
An exciting opportunity has become available to work for a prestigious and reputable manufacturing company which supplies the housing and construction market with a range of sustainable concrete blocks and masonry products, utilising high levels of recycled material.
The Electrical/Mechanical Engineer will be required to work Monday to Friday 6am – 5pm, however there may be times due to the nature of the role and production demands, where you may be required to work night shifts (rotating) with some weekend work; this will be by prior arrangement and with an increase in pay accordingly, details available on request.

Key responsibilities;
- Providing both electrical and mechanical support for machine breakdowns
- Carry out regular maintenance on machinery
- Fault diagnosis to limit loss of production
- Machinery repair
- Organise planned maintenance
Person Specification;
- Be highly qualified and skilled in Electrical/Mechanical
- Be able to communicate clearly, and report problems
- Attention to detail
- Be able to work within a team
Essential;
- HND in Electrical Engineering
- Previous experience of working within a manufacturing environment
