Security Training Centre (UK) Ltd has put together a new CP course for experienced operatives who have fallen outside the 3 year currency date. The SIA have introduced new rules that state: to be eligible to attend the 3 day refresher course operatives must have completed a formal CP course within the last 3 years, we are aware that the vast majority of operatives have attended formal training however due to operational commitments have not been able to attend a refresher course.

The content of the course follows the SIA core competencies and covers the following subjects over 150 hrs.

1.Skills & Teamwork
2.Legislation, Communication & Conflict Management
3.Risk Assessments
4.Surveillance
5.Techniques for Close Protection operatives

The duration of the course is 15 days and is ONLY for experienced operatives who have completed formal training or who have spent 5 years or more in an operational role.

The cost of the course is £1000 + VAT without accommodation or £1560 + VAT with B&B accommodation.
