KM4122 Refrigeration/HVAC Service Manager
Salary: To £38k - £41k + Private Healthcare + Company Vehicle + Benefits
Location: Kent
Position: Permanent
A Service Manager (Refrigeration/HVAC) is required to be responsible for the profitable growth of the Service Business in the South East Region. The Service Manager will have strong demonstrable leadership skills with an excellent track record in developing a diverse team of field based engineers.
The Service Manager will be qualified to ONC/OND level (Mechanical or Electrical) and have significant experience of refrigeration, air conditioning and process engineering. The Service Manager will have appropriate experience in Business Administration and a minimum of three years supervisory experience.
Responsibilities:
*To maintain close contact with the market, liaising with existing customers and promoting new business
*To be responsible for the cost effective identification and utilisation of human and material resource to support current and forecast levels of business.
*Monitor Individuals` performances and maintain appropriate records to enable development plans and disciplinary processes (where required)
*To ensure that service centre administration systems operate
*To properly exercise management control over working capital in respect of debtors and inventory, to maximise turnover with minimum overhead costs.
*To compile monthly reports on the effectiveness and performance of service centres and recommend future enhancements to productively and profitability
*To ensure that all branch employees are aware of Company Health, Safety and Environmental policies.
*To be responsible for all branch disciplinary matters.
*To identify, evaluate and manage potential risks of service centre business.
Qualifications/Experience:
*ONC/OND (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical discipline
*Significant experience in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Process Engineering
*Min 3 Yrs Supervisory/Team Leader Experience
*Experience in a Business Administration environment
