HQ5494 Trainee Restoration Technician
Location: Andover, Hampshire
Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 DOE
Hours: 37hrs Monday – Friday

Forces Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for a Trainee Restoration Technician to work for a leading UK company offering emergency property protection and restoration for domestic and commercial properties affected by fire, flood or other disaster. The Trainee Restoration Technician will be responsible for carrying out cleaning and restoration of client’s properties following a fire or flood.
Applications from Ex-Military Personnel are strongly encouraged (British Army, Royal Air Force, Royal Navy and Royal Marines) however all applications will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safeguard the customer’s property against secondary damage.
- Remove and securely store all salvageable contents and personal belongings.
- Restore valuable items, including antiques, fine arts, clothing and electronic equipment. (Full Training Provided)
- Remove smoke and soot damage; using the latest specialist techniques, our experienced technicians can eliminate the after-effects of smoke and soot residues.
- Remove odour and contamination; identify and implement the safest and most effective technique to remove odour and particulate contamination.
- Water extraction; assess and remove the water from the property
- Drying; injection-drying and suction-drying to remove moisture
- Sanitising and decontamination; you will ensure the property is free of danger, with all contaminants removed.
- Air quality control; you will use specialist equipment to mitigate loss and control the indoor environmental conditions.

Skills and Experience;
- Full training is provided
- Experience within construction or trade would be an advantage but not essential.
- UK Full Driving Licence
