The Company and the Role:
This Business is a privately-owned Gastro Pub situated just South of Basingstoke, a truly beautiful pub that serves a mixture of British and French cuisine cooked from fresh ingredients and locally sourced. They have a large garden split into three with a restaurant which can also cater for up to 100 guests for buffets and a bar area with a good selection of ales, larger and wines
They are now seeking Waiting and Bar staff. This position is permanent and full time.
Key Features of the Role:
You are the face of the establishment, so you need to have great customer skills.
Ultimately, it is the duty of yours to provide an excellent overall dining experience for our guests.
Keep in mind that Front of House staff duties may require working in shifts and/or occasionally during weekends and holidays.
You will need to have strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge and Skills:
Providing excellent waiting service to ensure satisfaction.
Taking customer orders and delivering food and beverages.
Making menu recommendations, answering questions and sharing additional information with restaurant patrons.
Have a ‘can do’ attitude and ambition to progress your career.
Possess excellent communication and team skills.
Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses.
Own form of transport is required due to the location of the Pub
What’s on Offer?
A basic salary of £8 per hour
40 hours per week over 5 days out of the seven.
They try to give weekends off on a rolling basis,
Tips – Cash and credit will be issued
28 days holiday
