Our Client is seeking a number of Specialist Insurance Advisors based in or around, London and Wiltshire to exclusively act as an adviser on behalf of the Company to members of HM Forces for the purpose of carrying on life, kit and general insurance business. This position is under a contract for services agreement. The Insurance Advisor will ideally have a strong understanding of military structure, be able to communicate with such individuals, and be driven to succeed. Training provided.

Key Responsibilities:
- Seek HM Forces clients for entering into non-investment insurance business (life, kit and general insurance business) with the Company
- Advise on non-investment business to members of the HM Forces on behalf of the Company or any connected person or placing facility of the Company
- Arrange non-investment insurance contracts issued by the Company or any connected person or placing facility of the Company
- Deal in and/or assist in the administration and performance of non-investment insurance contracts issued by the Company or any connected person or placing facility of the Company
- Provide services with all due care, skill and ability
- Promote the interests of the Company in respect of the services
- Report and provide information to the Company relating to the provision of services
- Comply with FCA Rules which are relevant to activities undertaken and the rules and procedures as presented by the Company.
- Co-operate fully with the Company and the FCA for as long as you remain a contractor for the Company and for a period of 3 years after the appointment ends, in the investigation of any matters relating to business undertaken by you on behalf of the Company or for its benefit

Person Specification:
Essential:
- Basic understanding of regulation and proven track record of selling compliantly
- Strong IT skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- High organisational skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work
- Motivation to learn new skills and tasks and be able to retain knowledge
- Ability to work to specified schedules/timescales
- Flexible to travel to locations throughout the UK for meetings
Desirable:
- Educated to A level standard
- Hold a Certificate in Insurance (CII)
- Previous sales experience (ideally previous experience in life insurance sales for HM Forces personnel)
- Knowledge and understanding of the core principles of insurance and how this is applied on a day to day basis
- Knowledge and understanding of the range of insurance products and services available in the market and how it will meet client needs.
- Able to organise and present briefs to audiences
- Able to build rapport effectively with clients and individuals
Salary:
OTE up to £85,000
