An award winning and market-share leading chilled savoury pastry food manufacturer is seeking an Electrical Engineer to complement an existing passionate and enthusiastic team. As an Electrical engineer you will proactive, and deliver planned-preventative maintenance to ensure the equipment is able to meet capacity demand and efficiency targets. The successful candidate will also provide reactive maintenance ensuring minimum machine downtime. As an Electrical Engineer you will also assist with the introduction of new equipment to a market leading production facility. To be successful you will be educated to at least City & Guilds level 3 or equivalent in a relevant qualification, and committed to continuous professional development. Key Responsibilities:
- Proactive, planned-preventative maintenance to ensure existing equipment is able to meet capacity demand and efficiency targets.
- Reactive maintenance to ensure minimal machine downtime.
- Identifying and delivering against opportunities to implement changes and continuous improvement projects to maximise plant efficiencies.
- Assisting with the introduction of new equipment to a market leading production facility as part of our continued drive for innovation.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experienced Required:
- Experienced Electrical Engineer.
- Ability to install and programme an invertor on a three phase induction motor.
- Ability to read and fault find on an electrical system.
- Fault finding on PLC’s, including the ability to change ladder logic.
- Good knowledge of Servo Motors.
- Strong diagnostic skills.
- Educated to at least a City & Guilds level 3 or NVQ level 3 in a relevant qualification.
- Experience in a food manufacturing environment (desirable).
