The Company and the Role:
Exciting permanent Chef de Partie opportunity with an independently owned Hampshire marina-based hospitality Company, on the South Coast near Southampton. Offering a full range fresh food menu.
The Group comprises some of Hampshire`s well-known independent restaurants, bars and boutique hotels.
The position is permanent and full time covering the kitchen team during Breakfast, lunchtime and Dinner service, preparation and cooking.
Full time employment carrying on past the peak summer season and through winter, working 45-50 hours per week 5 days a week, which will include weekends (sometime Saturday or Sunday or both), additional hours are available if you want to earn more money.
Born from a unique and prestigious heritage of a leading independent leisure group in Hampshire, Dorset and Wiltshire, each venue has a reputation for using the best fresh and local ingredients, using carefully sourced suppliers.
This restaurant and bar is set in superb surroundings and has its own unique marina food concept.

Together as a team it`s your job to ensure that the customer`s expectations are met and exceeded every time they visit.
Assisting the Brigade to produce the best quality results for every customer`s culinary experience, emulating the highest standards of food quality and consistency.
The Company is seeking a committed Chef de Partie with a passion for good food, there is opportunity for career development if you want it, within their hospitality group.
This is a very busy working environment and as well as having high standards and demonstrating good attention to detail.
You`ll be part of a team who helps influence effective kitchen controls and to achieve good gross profit, efficient ordering and stock control as well as driving excellent standards of health and hygiene.

Knowledge and Skills:
You should have prior experience as a Chef de Partie where food preparation and working in a fresh food kitchen was part of your everyday Chef duties.
You should have experience in preparing and cooking dishes such as pizza`s and pasta`s etc.
Your practical experience should ideally be supported by some form of catering qualification.
You should have a passion for producing the perfect dish every time, having a desire to aim for high standards.
You must be emotionally robust and someone who can thrive under pressure in a busy seasonal kitchen environment.
You will be an excellent team player who can respectfully communicate to the team.
You must have your own transport to get to interview and every day for work.

What`s on Offer?
The Chef de Partie opportunity has flexibility for someone to work more hours or the standard 45 to 50 hours per week, early start for breakfast shift is 8am and lunch time shift runs up to 4pm, with the restaurant closing service around 10pm depending on time of year. So, set hours and days can be geared around your availability, but they will include Saturday and or Sunday or both.
£8.50 to £9.50 per hour plus tips (depending on experience).
