HQ5442 Test and Configuration Engineer
Salary: £35,000 - £37,500 DOE
Location: Sunbury on Thames
Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday
As a result of continued growth, an opportunity has become available to work for a global leader in the design, manufacture and supply of high-performance robotic camera systems used in television studios across the world. The Test & Configuration Engineer will be responsible to work on the robotic camera systems prior to system acceptance and customer delivery, configuration of the system and proposed acceptance test procedures. The systems range from single camera Pan and Tilt Heads to complete multi-studio fully-robotic XY pedestals and rail camera systems.
Applications from Ex-Military Personnel (British Army, Royal Air Force, Royal Navy and Royal Marines) are strongly encouraged
Key Responsibilities:
- Set-up and configuration of systems coming from the in-house production facility
- Testing pre-release developments ensuring new systems meet defined test requirements
- Testing of repaired units following customer return when required
- Hand over of completed systems for final acceptance testing by customer service engineers

Skills, Experience & Qualifications;
- Electronic Engineering (HNC/HND/Degree)
- Experience of testing digital and analogue electronic sub systems
- Mechanical engineering experience would be an advantage
- Software upload and configuration experience (Windows/Linux applications)
- Firmware update experience
