An experienced Commercial Vehicle Mechanic/Technician is required to join an industry leading company to ensure that the logistics team can make deliveries to customers with safe, well maintained vehicles. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and inspection of all heavy and light commercial vehicles, tankers and FLT’s ensuring the fleet meets DVSA HGV inspection standards (VOSA). To be successful you will hold a Motor Mechanics level 2 City & Guilds qualification or equivalent. As a Vehicle Technician you will be competent in vehicle diagnostics, and able to work on your own initiative, and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities / Experience:
- Carry out Inspections, preparation and maintenance to all commercial vehicles.
- Accurately maintain vehicle service records.
- Repair vehicles in a cost effective manner in line with company budgets.
- Working knowledge of DVSA HGV inspection Standards (VOSA)
- Store and use chemicals as per COSHH regulations.
- Meet and accurately record KPIs
- Be aware of and abide by HSE regulations and SSOW at all times.
Qualifications:
- Experienced Commercial Vehicle Technician.
- Level 2 City & Guilds in Motor Mechanics or equivalent.
- Full C+E driving licence.
- Working Knowledge of DAF and Iveco products would be advantageous.

Salary: £32,400 per annum
