The Company is currently seeking an Installation Engineer to provide Installation activities and cable termination of supplied systems and demonstrate to the customer a mechanically complete system that meets technical requirements.
The Company is currently seeking an Installation Engineer to be based at their site in the West Midlands.
Key Features of the Role:
To install equipment at site then to a pre-determined drawing or documentation package that meets or exceeds the customers requirement.
The post is mainly UK based but may require prolonged visits abroad for installation and purposes.
Installation capability of the following systems: Fibre, CCTV, PABX, PA, SDH, Radio, Microwave, Met, PDH, Satellite, Security Systems, LAN`s, WAN`s, Entertainment, Cabling and Power Supplies.
Knowledge and Skills:
You will need to be an accomplished Installation Engineer, able to execute the mechanical completion of individual sub-systems, Cable Installation, Termination and test. Carry out hard or soft copy production of test results and the completion of works within project timescales.
Detailed daily project reports to UK Project Manager / Project Engineer Installation as appropriate.
Equipment, Cable and Cable core labelling to customer specifications with the ability to implement work pack instructions. Produce Red line mark-ups plus the mentoring of Junior Engineers.
You should have proven installation capability in systems, cable test capability
You must have detailed knowledge of complex fibre networks, splicing and testing. Sky network as an example Needs splicer and OTDR etc.
What`s on Offer:
A basic salary of around £30K + Pension, 23 holidays (plus Bank and Public holidays), BHSF - Bronze cover immediate benefit, immediate Death in Service x 2 salary and sports and social event activities.
