Job Details
An experienced driver with both a class 1 and 2 licence is required for a large established and highly successful multi-sector company based in the North East of England. The Driver will be providing holiday and sick cover for the other drivers. Flexibility will be needed to work a combination of days and nights out; in addition, flexibility in roaming between various client depots across the UK. The client is looking for individuals with a strong professional and customer focus while interested in a full-time permanent position. Thus, training will be provided to the successful candidates.

Person Specification:
Essential:
- Full LGV/HGV class 1 licence and ideally have previous driving exp.
- Clean and current driving licence
- CPC
- Digital tachograph card
- Be a strong team player, professional and have excellent customer facing skills
- Have a positive attitude to health and safety
- Flexibility to move from vehicle to vehicle, daily or weekly
- Be willing to carry out day work, night work and tramping
Desirable:
- Full ADR
- Trained on walking floors, tipping trailers, and/or rigid tippers
- Trained on rigid and artic blowers
- Drax, British Gypsum and other site induction trained
Hours:
60 hours per week, flexible working covering 7 days per week
Salary:
£40,000 + benefits + overtime
