The Company and the Role:
The Company is an award winning 5 Star country hotel and restaurant situated in the scenic heart of the New Forest, they are seeking a full time permanent Hotel Receptionist to join their dedicated Reception Team.
The Hotel is laid-back luxury at its best – a stunning building set in the middle of the New Forest landscape.
A multi-award-winning 32 bed hotel with a restaurant which has a different approach to hospitality – fine dining has been thrown out and replaced with a fun dining experience which includes seasonal, locally sourced and fresh British food with an Italian twist.
The Company is currently looking for a dedicated and passionate, customer focused Hotel Receptionist to join their Front of House team, at their Flag Ship 5 Star Hotel venue.

Key Features of the Role:
As a Hotel Receptionist you will be the face of the Company and most likely the first and last person many of the guests will see.
You will look to make the guests experience positive and happy, with a smile, high standards and great attention to detail.
You will use the Opera systems as part of your daily routine.
You will provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests but not in a formal or stuffy manner.
You will need to carry out administrational duties, such as making room and table reservations, responding to emails and sending guest correspondence.

Knowledge and Skills:
You should ideally be an accomplished Hotel Receptionist or a Customer Focused hospitality professional. Applicants with other reception experience will also be considered.
You must be able to provide a memorable experience throughout a Guests stay.
You must be able to deal with guest enquiries in an efficient and proactive manner.
You must be emotionally robust and responsible for the actions you take during your Reception shift.
You must also be able to correctly handle cash and data when dealing with Guests of the Hotel.
You should possess ambition to continually push yourself to move up to the next career level.
You will be a great team player with good organisational skills with the ability to thrive in a very busy hotel, where the Company’s reputation is second to none.
You must have your own transport due to the rural location of the hotel, if you choose not to live in.
So, if you like what you have read, and are ready for a new challenge, then please make an application now.

What’s on Offer?
The Receptionist opportunity offers a basic salary of £17,500 per annum plus tronc (tips) worth around £1,000 per annum. A live-in option is available subject to availability and personal contribution towards the rent.
