Our client is currently recruiting for a number of Class1 (C+E) & Class 2 Drivers to support in the delivery of their services to customers within the construction and extractive industries, specialising in brick & block haulage and bulk aggregate deliveries. Working to the highest standards, the Driver will form part of an important team carrying out deliveries throughout London and the Home Counties.
You will demonstrate a professional manner and a positive attitude towards customers, colleagues and suppliers.
Applications from ex-military personnel (Royal Air Force, Royal Navy, British Army, and Royal Marines) are strongly encouraged.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining a high standard of driving in accordance with appropriate guidelines and regulations.
- To ensure handling of loads is carried out correctly, professionally and carefully.
- To provide fully completed Tachograph charts correctly on a regular basis
- To work as part of a team to achieve customers’ requirements
- Treat all customers with respect and maintain professionalism
- To exceed customers’ expectations by going the extra mile
- Willing to undertake training and develop further training opportunities
- To represent and uphold the company’s brand at all times, ensuring clean personal appearance and tidy uniform
- To complete daily vehicle checks
Essential Requirements
- Good understanding of EU Drivers` Hours Rules and Working Time Directive.
- High level of Class 1 and/or Class 2 driving skill
- Reliable & well presented with good timekeeping.
- ALLMI Lorry Loader Qualification desirable but training can be provided.
- MPQC (EPIC) card desirable

- Able to overcome challenges and obstacles
Salary: £31,200 to £39,000 / annum (subject to experience and licencing)
