Salary: £22,000-24,000 depending on experience
Background
One of the world`s leading designers and manufacturers of advanced driving robots used for vehicle development is now looking to recruit a Robot Production Technician to join its highly skilled team. The Robot Production Technician will assemble, build, test and quality inspect robot systems to the highest standards.
This role would suit ex-military candidates and applications from ex-service personnel are strongly encouraged.
Key Responsibilities
This vacancy is an opportunity for someone interested in pursuing a career in Engineering.
The job will comprise of 75% electronics based assembly and fault finding and 25% mechanical.
Assemble, build, test and quality inspect robot systems to the highest standards using the correct and most current testing procedures and electrical/mechanical drawings.
Key Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge
NVQ Level 3 in an engineering discipline
Mechanical and/or electronic engineering background
Competent using electrical and mechanical drawings
Electronics/Electrical fault finding skills
Can work under minimal supervision whilst using their own initiative and engineering abilities
Good technical communication skills
Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
