A pioneering provider of home technology solutions for millions of older people, or those with complex health needs, is looking for a Field Service Supervisor to join their growing team. As Field Service Supervisor you will lead a team of engineers and manage the day to day operation of the team in delivering first class customer service by meeting or exceeding performance targets. Therefore, you must display first class interpersonal skills and the drive required to ensure that your field service engineers continually exceed performance targets. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage engineering resource to fulfil contractual obligations
- Deliver productivity and performance improvements to enhance the customer experience
- Identify and resolve issues that impact upon customer satisfaction
- Manage the commissioning of assisted living installations (Telecare/Telehealth)
- Maintain and repair customer equipment in accordance with service level agreements
- Manage the commissioning and handover phases of projects
- Provide technical assistance and training to other members of the team and customers
- Support the team and customers to ensure effective, quality and cost effective installations
- Be the safety, health and environmental representative for your field-based team
- Comprehensive knowledge of the company`s core products including repair and maintenance
- Develop long term business partnerships
Knowledge, skills and qualifications - essential:
- Comprehensive, technical understanding of electrical and electronic systems /principles
- Electrical/electronic qualification equivalent to NVQ level 2 or above
- You will need to have extensive experience of Warden Call Systems, Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Door Entry, Access Control, Environmental Monitoring/Control, Fire Detection, Nurse Call
- Working knowledge of KPI’s, performance measures, SLA’s or similar
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work at heights or in confined dusty spaces
- Knowledge of health & safety issues
- Experience of working with elderly and vulnerable people
- Full driving licence
Knowledge, skills and qualifications - desirable:
- A pass at ONC level, equivalent to NVQ Level 3 or demonstrable alternative in an electrical or electronic engineering discipline
- Knowledge of networks and IP-based systems
- Safety, health and environmental knowledge
- 17th Edition, Part P or equivalent

You should have a flexible approach to meeting the demands of customers. You will demonstrate a customer first attitude and agree to undertake a CRB check. You must be a highly motivated and enthusiastic team member positively promoting the company as a world class service provider.
