Description :

Are you a qualified and ambitious accountant, who is keen to learn new skills in corporate finance such as how to manage acquisitions, disposals and management buy-outs/buy-in’s, for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs)? This is not a standard accountancy role and it will enable you to work on new corporate finance deals and to play a key part in a range of activities from initial client meetings and deal structuring, to the preparation of financial models and the creation of business plans. This is an opportunity for you to use your accountancy skills in a small, high performing corporate finance team and for you to be mentored by members of the team. As the business continues to grow you will work on other key areas, such as raising funds for clients across all sectors. The team that you will be joining is commercially-minded and innovative and their success is driven by ensuring that every member of the team maximises their potential. Therefore, making everyone feel valued is part of the culture, as is ensuring that you are well rewarded for your success; once you are promoted to a Corporate Finance Partner there is no limit on your upper earnings.

Knowledge, skills and qualifications - essential:

  • Qualified Accountant, ACA , ACCA or CIMA

  • Driven to deliver quality whilst delighting clients
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster client relationships, maintaining a strong confidentiality ethic

  • Ability to establish a strong working relationship with colleagues with the highest level of professionalism and integrity
  • Good eye for detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Prepared for regular travel to meet clients
