Breakdown Technician HGV Peterborough
Due to successful growth we are recruting for a Late Shift Technician based at our Peterborough Site
Permanent role
Reports to: Service Manager
8am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday
Additonal Benefits: Overtime, stand by Payment
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Applicants must have vast experience with commercial repairs and be able to work completely under their own initiative and entirely independently
The nature of this role is breakdown related so this role will be varied, working on all types of commercial vehicles and trailers
Experience is essential with trucks, trailers, computer diagnostics, ABS/EBS systems and tailifts
Experience with hydraulic systems and a class 1 licence, would be advantage but not essential
If there are no breakdown duties to be conducted, workshop tasks will be assigned
Alternatively you may have transferrable skills gained from working within the motor industry
