What you’ll be doing
The core duties involve activities associated with train preparation, shunting, marshalling and train dispatch. You will directly contribute to our service delivery and have the opportunity to influence the service offering to our customers.
The positions will cover a varied number of customer and DB sites in the West London and Kent areas and infrastructure worksites as required.
Who we’re looking for
Responsible, committed, flexible and hard-working individuals who will be required to work closely with their colleagues as part of the overall DB team and our customers within a variety of sites to ensure the efficient, safe service delivery of our trains.
Successful applicants must also have the ability to quickly resolve day to day problems and ensure consistently high standards of customer service as standard.
There will be a requirement for a full driving licence and work around shift patterns and weekends to meet the needs of our customers.
Assessments will form part of the selection process. The positions are safety critical and subject to attaining satisfactory medical standards and screening for alcohol and drugs.
Full training where necessary will be given to the most suitable candidates.
