HQ5143 Accounts Assistant
Salary: £21,000 - £25,000 DOE
Location: Swindon

The Accounts Assistant will take on a wide range of responsibilities as part of the wider Accounting and Customer Service division; with a good remuneration package and development opportunities, this position is ideal for anyone looking to diversify their skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Production of invoices and credit notes
- Reconciliation of Payable and Receivable accounts
- Tracking orders
- Liaising with carriers and investigating late consignments
- Sending customer statements on a monthly basis
- Undertaking credit control via telephone, email and letter to chase outstanding debts
- Allocating of incoming payments
- Entering all bills received for the UK office
- Drawing down reports for the Sales Managers on an ad hoc basis
Person Specification
- Able to demonstrate previous accounting experience
- Able to be confident and assertive
- Have an eye for detail
- Understand how to allocate stock on an international level
- Be comfortable taking on a range of duties and increasing over time
Essential:
- ‘Quick Books’ experience
- Good understanding of MS Excel
- Excellent customer service skills
- Positive attitude
- To be flexible
