The Company and the Role:
The Restaurant has a Permanent Full Time Senior Chef de Partie vacancy at their waterside marina venue in Southampton. Rated 4.5 on Trip Advisor and one of the top 10 Restaurants in Southampton.
The Restaurant is part of an independently owned niche group of venues seeking an experienced Senior Chef de Partie. Working in a vibrant, well known and highly rated restaurant there is realistic career progression and basic salary increases.
The business owner is looking to bring in an experienced Senior Chef de Partie, with a keen interest working with fresh and local produce, and a menu covering Seafood, European, British, Vegetarian, Vegan and Gluten Free menu choices.
Producing high quality food every time so that they can meet the expectation of their guests and repeat business patrons.
The Company is offering progression within the business to Sous Chef and beyond, at this venue or others, depending on skill, ability, attitude, flexibility and loyalty.

Together as a team it`s your job to ensure that the customer`s expectations are met and exceeded every time they visit, so they can retain or improve their 4.5 Trip Advisor rating and their top 10 position.
The Company is seeking an ambitious and committed Senior Chef de Partie with a passion for good food who is ready to continue developing their career in an exciting and expanding independently owned restaurant group.
You must be a great team player with good organisational skills, with the ability to thrive in a very busy bar and restaurant, where the Company`s reputation for consistently preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to the right quality, is second to none.
You will become a valued member of the team assisting the Sous Chef and Head Chef to produce the best quality results for every customer`s culinary experience, emulating the highest standards of food quality and consistency.
This is a very busy working environment offering breakfast, lunch and dinner services throughout the day, 7 days a week. Expecting you to have high standards and demonstrating good attention to detail, to stand out from the crowd of other Chefs. Which will be rewarded with career progression, monetary rewards, leading a team or eventually your own restaurant.

Knowledge and Skills:
You should be an accomplished Demi CPD, Chef De Partie or Senior Chef de Partie, with experience of working in a fresh food kitchen at a similar level.
You should possess ambition to continually push yourself to move up to the next career level.
Your practical experience should ideally be supported by some form of catering qualification.
You should have a passion for producing the perfect dish every time, having a desire to aim for high standards.
Previous experience in a similar role requiring a broad food knowledge and precise attention to detail is essential, with fresh, quality food and someone who can thrive under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.
You will be an excellent team player and leader who can respectfully communicate to the team, supporting your work colleagues and understand the hierarchy and importance of a kitchen brigade structure.

What`s on Offer?
Senior Chef de Partie Basic salary up to £24,000, assessed at trial interview, based on skill, knowledge, ability, attention to detail, attitude and application in a restaurant kitchen environment.
Basic salary increases once trust, ability and skills have been shown to be an asset to the business.
Next step career progression to Sous Chef and onwards based on ability, application, attitude and trust.
Tips are paid weekly.
Open hours are 10:00am till 22:00pm.
You will work on a weekly rota basis, working 50 hours per week.
28 days holiday, (incorporating 2 weeks off at the beginning of January due to seasonal closure).
Full time permanent position
Opportunity to work in other venues within the group.
