SW 5103: Coach/Bus Drivers
Salary: £Competitive
Location: Exeter
Based in Exeter, my client is looking for several (preferably) experienced Coach and Bus drivers for permanent, full-time work. You will need to be reliable, time worthy, considerate and safety conscious whilst carrying out your duties.
Main Responsibilities:
- Driving safely and complying with diver safety regulations at all times
- Greeting passengers and checking documentation or taking fares
- Pick-ups and drop-offs throughout the Southwest and beyond
- Helping passengers that have difficulty getting on and off the coach
- Able to carry out physically demanding work
- Keeping your vehicle clean and basic maintenance checks
Experience and Qualifications:
- A current PCV licence with CPC and digi-tacho preferred
- Previous experience is an advantage. However, if you have the right licences and qualifications then my client will still consider your application and be able to build up your experience over time
- Excellent customer facing skills, including transporting children
- Enhanced DBS or able to gain clearance
- The ability to work flexibly, including weekends and Bank Holidays, as required
- Able to plan your routes and take traffic conditions into consideration
- To be able to speak a foreign language could be an advantage
