Job Details
The role will include:
Frequently travelling the country, assisting with all aspects of trenchless technology services provided by the company. Learning from the current lead drillers and becoming a core member of our team, with the view of becoming a skilled driller and/or Auger Bore operative.
Carrying out all work with a high level of health and safety awareness and following safe working practices at all times, to ensue the safety of yourself and colleagues whilst on site.
No relevant experience is required for the role(s), as the company is looking to develop successful candidates into fully qualified drillers, auger borers and supervisors.
As the company operates nationwide, some jobs may require stopping away, where an allowance of expenses along with accommodation will be provided by the company. Candidates, therefore, must be willing to spend time, periodically, away from home.
Essentials:
You will need a full valid UK drivers license and your own vehicle to be able to commute from home to our offices in Olney, Buckinghamshire. From the offices to the job site you will travel in a company vehicle.
You must have a positive attitude and strive to provide the professional service we at Chiltern Thrustbore Ltd wish to achieve.
You must be able to demonstrate fluency in both verbal and written English Site experience is beneficial but is not required as training will be provided throughout employment.
Skills related to directional drilling/guided auger boring are also advantageous but not required .
Salary is competitive within the industry and will be confirmed. Working hours: 5 days per week with potential weekend work (overtime and weekend working at additional rate). Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
