Wycombe Abbey is a world-renowned independent girls boarding school in the heart of High Wycombe. This is an exciting opportunity for a Health and Safety Coordinator to work alongside Heads of Departments to ensure that the School is compliant, providing guidance and assistance on health and safety related issues.
Duties will include
RIDDOR reporting, maintaining records of health and safety testing and ensuring compliance with Fire Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
Hours of work: This is a full time role, working 28 hours a week, 52 weeks per year.
The successful applicant will have previous experience within a similar health and safety role and will ideally hold an IOSH and/or NEBOSH certificate. You must be an effective communicator and be able to use your own initiative. A flexible ˜can do" attitude is also essential, as is the ability to provide the very best level of service to all staff, pupils and other stakeholders.
