Maintenance Electrician
Key Responsibilities
To carry out maintenance, fault finding and repair on all electrical systems as directed by the management team.
Maintain equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures connected to the electrical systems as scheduled or instructed
To identify root causes wherever possible and to communicate with relevant personnel
To communicate all relevant and necessary information with lead technician, maintenance technician, colleagues or others within the organisation
To hand over any work which remains incomplete at the end of the shift
To work safely at all times observing instructions, procedures, permits, safety systems, lock offs and other protocols applicable
General Mainteance on all electrical systems
Plant operation
Shift reporting
Fault finding on control panels and PLC equipment
Installing new equipment around the plant
About you:
City & Guilds Electrical qualification
17th Edition Electrical Regulation qualified
Knowledge of Die Casting, CNC machines and robotos would be advantageous
Proven experience in a similar role
Appropriate knowledge of Health & Safety and environmental requirements related to delivery of the assigned tasks
To assist wherever and whenever possible in safety improvements
mechanical skills desirable
Industrial electrical knowledge
Computer literate
Good fault finding skills
Good maintenance knowledge an advantage
Highly motivated to work in a fast paced environment
Hours of Work Monday - Friday 06.00am - 14.05pm (20 minute unpaid break each day)
Rate of Pay £15.21 per hour
