Most installation project trips are one to two weeks in duration and this will mean that you will be spending around 75% of your time at sites across the UK or abroad. Key Responsibilities:
- Taking ownership for the installation and commissioning of mechanical and electrical equipment, conveyor systems, weight scales, electrical cabinets, industrial printers and support equipment
- Working alone, or leading a team of installation engineers to complete a task within pre-set timeframes and costs
- Provision of training to customers on the use, maintenance and optimisation of the equipment
- Conduct preventative maintenance and annual service visits where needed
- Act as the company representative on-site by supporting the customer and providing exceptional service to ensure their investment yields them the highest possible benefit
- Maintain regular interaction with the UK project team regarding progress, issues and time schedules
Person Specification:
- Based in the South East within a commutable distance of Kent
- Ability to travel, with no restrictions, at short notice
- Prepared to spend 75% of your time travelling within the UK and worldwide
- Must hold a current driving licence and valid passport
- Possesses a demonstrable mix of skills, from electrical and simple software installation to mechanical engineering
- Experience in on-site fault finding and troubleshooting
- Knowledge and experience of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems an advantage
- As a representative of the company you must be neat, articulate and have the ability to teach others how to use equipment and software
- A logical mind and strong work ethic
