The Company and the Role:
This exciting new Senior Account Manager opportunity is based in Southampton with an established Commercial Insurance Broker.
This role is 100% managing existing policy holders using your Insurance industry experience, knowledge and qualifications.
Offering Insurance services which are provided in house, so you can deliver security and peace of mind to all of your clients
Through a leading insurance brokerage with a professional and unique approach both over the phone and on occasion face to face.
This is a full time permanent position.

Key Features of the Role:
Working in sectors such as Commercial and Life Insurance etc. Offering a complete insurance solution on a business or individual basis.
Calling existing policy holders to discuss and manage their accounts, being responsible and accountable for the retention, maintenance and growth of a portfolio of smaller development clients.
Assessing and servicing current policy criteria against policy holder requirements, as well as carrying out administrational amends, renewals and other necessary requirements.
Preparation of presentations to insurers, negotiating premiums with underwriters, processing adjustments and documentation preparation.

Knowledge and Skills:
Must have current UK Insurance Brokerage experience in Account Handling role with a general Broker or Insurance company environment.
Must have technically competent on mainstream commercial insurance classes
Must be competent on Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook programs.
Must be supported by a good level of numeracy and spelling as we as competent business letter-writing skills, due to responsibilities and duties of the role, and ideally CII or similar insurance industry qualification.

What’s on Offer?
Salary range is depending on experience around £25-30k per annum. In addition commission is payable on new business.
No need to bring an existing book of business, but if new clients are brought over then commission is available for the new business.
Free parking on and off site based on a rota basis, parking in surrounding areas is currently free.
Working hours will generally be Monday to Friday 9:00 till 17:00, however there is an expectation for the Senior Account Manager to put the time in when required.
25 days holiday + bank holidays.
Some accompanied meetings but these will be limited.
Auto enrolment pension.
