SW 4866: Health & Safety Instructor/Consultant
Salary: Competitive and DOE
Location: S Devon
My client based in S Devon is looking for a Health & Safety Instructor and Consultant for the delivery of training courses and the provision of consultancy services to companies throughout the South West. You will be delivering courses such as NEBOSH, CITB, IOSH and other safety courses, as well as advising clients on H&S management systems, safety policies, delivering audits and site surveys and accident investigations.
It is essential that you come from a construction background, have training/instruction experience and can contribute to business development as new opportunities arise.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Efficient planning and scheduling of H&S training course and consultancy support
- To meet with clients on site and deal with matters arising
- To provide clients with professional, up to date health and safety advice
- Business development activities in line with the company’s overall strategic plan and objectives
- To work as an effective team member within Operations and Administrative teams as appropriate
- Have excellent communicative and customer facing skills
- To maintain first class standards of service delivery, representing the company in a positive and professional manner at all times
- To develop relationships with existing clients and identify new clients at all times
Essential Experience and Qualifications:
- You will need to be a Chartered Safety Practitioner (or at the very least, be working towards)
- Have NEBOSH – General or Construction
- Have broad experience and the ability to provide health and safety solutions to various industry sectors including the construction industry
- Enjoy delivering training at all levels
- Be highly motivated and have high and personal and professional standards
