The Company and the Role:
The Company is an Eastern European Security Company. As a result of winning a new contract, they urgently require 2 Close Protection Shift Leaders each to manage a team of 7 Close Team Specialists to provide personal security to a VIP. The positions are based in Eastern Europe and will be offered as a 4 year contract.
Key Features of the Role:
Managing a close protection team of 8 people - 2 Drivers, 2 Avangard and 4 Close Protection Officers. There will be 2 teams working on the contract to provide the VIP with the personal protection necessary.
The work will be on 2 shifts with no work timetable meaning the team that is on duty will work from 09:00 to whatever time they finish and give the VIP to the station guards at their home.
You will work 2 days and then rest 2 days. You can arrange holidays meaning that the first shift will work let`s say 10 days during that time the second shift can go back home to see their families and then the other way around.
Reporting into the Close Protection Team Leader you will share the responsibility with the Team Leader and the other Shift Leader of the day to day management of the security detail including but not limited to : full security audit on a monthly basis ∙ day to day planning ∙ close protection work side by side with VIP on a daily basis ∙ control of the station guards ∙ observation for followers ∙ and training at least once a week to keep the team in shape ( shooting, all expenses will be re-covered from the company).
There is a potential threat to the VIP so the work can be considered middle risk due to the fact that no matter of the threat at the end of the day they will work in EU country so attempts will not be that easy and often.
Knowledge and Skills:
You must be an experienced Close Protection Officer with close protection team management experience and have significant Armed Forces experience including time spent in special forces e.g. SBS, SAS or international equivalent having been part of at least one real mission in hostile terrority.
Physical entering requirements, are as follows: 1-mile run, 100 pullups, 200 pushups, 300 air squats, shooting test, theory tactical test, psycho test and lie detector (which will be performed every 3 months).

Apart from the salary which will be normally tax free, the Company will provide full medical and comprehensive insurance that will cover all medical treatments that may happen no matter if it is injury happened on duty or other medical condition, also full law support in case you need to use firearms when you are on duty.
In addition, free accommodation will be provided (own room) and 3 meals a day when on duty, 20 days` holiday, 2 free flights back to your home base in a calendar year and for other occasions you will benefit from a 50% discount of the price of the tickets from Bulgaria Air.
Bonus payments are made for your Birthday, Christmas and New Year.
