Set within landscaped gardens, the safe and supportive environment of the Priory Hospital Cheadle Royal offers a comprehensive inpatient specialist mental health service for young people and adults. The service is dedicated to providing innovative, high quality care and treatment for service users with challenging and complex needs, in order to enable their recovery and re-engagement with the community.
Reporting to the Night Manager, you will work as part of the night manager team alongside the ward managers. You will support the wards in the running of the hospital overnight and support the ward based nursing teams. The successful applicant will ensure that a high standard of patient care is provided and that the unit complies with all quality standards and statutory requirements.
Our hospital encompasses 11 wards, 7 of which are 24 hour admission wards the successful candidate therefore must be competent in the management of referrals and able to prioritise admissions.
Essential criteria:
- RMN / RNLD
- Good working knowledge of the Mental Health Act
- Ability to undertake physical requirements of MVA
- Ability to be responsive and flexible
