The Ayr Clinic is a 44 bed Low Secure and Step Down Rehabilitation service situated in town of Ayr, South Ayrshire. The facility specialises in the treatment and recovery of men and women affected by mental illness and/or personality disorder. The bed provision is split into 3 wards of 12 beds at the Clinic whilst the Ayr Gatehouse operates as an annex of 8 beds providing a step down service for women near to Ayr town centre.
The Lead Nurse will be responsible for leading and managing nursing resources, ensuring delivery against standards, requirements and regulation in the Ayr Clinic. Ensuring that targets and objectives are met in collaboration with the senior management team and that the clinic performs to all best practice, national standards and quality threshold required. The post holder will ensure service user involvement, person centered planning and recovery are key elements in taking the team forward.
The post holder will ensure policies and procedures are fully implemented and provide direct supervision to the Senior Charge Nurses.
The Post Holder will lead the Senior Nursing Team, representing the viewpoints of nurses within corporate and local quality governance structures.
