They are currently seeking a Fleet Analyst / Vehicle Control Liaison to be based at Kandahar International Airport, Afghanistan. The position is offered on a 12 month renewable contract.
Reporting into a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the supervision and scheduling and analysis of maintenance performed on the vehicles and equipment.
You will manage the vehicle data collection system and develop local retrievals to obtain specific data.
You will update and file historical data and maintain vehicle records.
Knowledge and Skills:
You will be an accomplished Equipment and Vehicle Maintenance Analyst / Administrator.
You will have knowledge of maintenance control and analysis, diagnostic duties, maintenance responsibilities, maintenance data collection and reporting procedures.
You will be experienced in functions such as maintenance control and analysis, quality control, diagnostics, maintenance shop work centre and obtaining parts and materials for use in vehicle maintenance.
You should ideally be experienced in equipment parts acquisition and warranty procedures.
You should possess excellent inter-personal skills.
You should possess excellent communication skills in English and ideally one other language, able to adapt to rapid changes in a positive manner and work to tight deadlines.
Superb communication skills and instant credibility are essential as you will be inter-facing with a number of people from different backgrounds, nationalities and religions.
You will be resourceful with a flexible outlook, have the ability to multi-task in order to handle competing priorities and be able to fit in to an international dynamic and multi-cultural environment.
Finally, you should possess a Drivers Licence and be PC literate with MS Office, e mail and the Internet.
This is an outstanding challenge for an accomplished Equipment and Vehicle Maintenance Fleet Analyst or Administrator looking for something different.
The basic salary is paid in US Dollars and is tax free for an Ex-Patriate employee. Accommodation, laundry, local transport, medical / health insurances and meals are all provided free. In addition, you will have the use of a phone to call family and friends and also use of the internet for e-mails etc.
Ex-Patriate employees will work 4 months on, 2 weeks off.
In addition, Ex-Patriate employees will receive paid return economy flights when commencing and returning from their R and R. Mobilization and De-Mobilization flights are also paid for by our client.
