Ref No 925 Vacancy: Electrical Design & Commissioning Engineer
Location: Swindon
Key Role & Responsibilities
Coordination of projects from Concept stage through to implementation
Development of Electrical specification for projects including cost study
*Electrical design of manufacturing equipment including software development
*Assistance to the plant in trouble shooting during large equipment breakdowns
*Coordination of electrical assembly and commissioning of new installations
Essential skills
*Minimum 2 years experience in related industry
*Ability to carry out hands-on activity such as field wiring and control panel assembly
*Strong communication skills at all levels
*Demonstrable experience of problem solving & implementation of countermeasures
*Flexible approach to work and able to work weekends and shutdowns when required
Desirable
*Experience of installation & commissioning of robotic cells
*Degree / HND in relevant engineering discipline
*Paint process knowledge and experience
*Experience of safety systems (Pilz pref.)
*Experience of generating reports and presentations
*Experience in CE Marking of equipment & ATEX
*Demonstrable experience of proactively driving through changes within current dept.
