Ref No: 915 Building Services Surveyor
Location: Edinburgh
Our client is an award-winning contractor providing blue chip companies and national and local government with a range of specialist services. A FTSE 250 company which employs 44, 000 staff in over 100 offices the company's successful growth continues each year and a qualified and experienced Building Services Surveyor is currently sought.
The Person
You will be a building Surveyor with relevant experience in the building/construction industry and preferably have a degree or post-graduate qualification in Building Surveying and membership to relevant professional bodies - RICS or CIOB. (Applicants qualified by experience will also be given full consideration).
You will have extensive experience in delivering service-provider property and or building management across a multi-building portfolio.
The Role
You will identify, and quantify the building fabric maintenance exposure through a programme of condition surveys, while developing and driving through robust planned and preventative maintenance strategies, priorities and contract methodologies that will improve and prolong the life of our client's property assets, obtaining best value from the application of innovation and professional best practice.
You will be the responsible service officer for ensuring our service contract compliance with building regulations, CDM and other legislative and statutory requirements and be the 'expert advisor' to our client on a wide range of building maintenance and facilities service related matters including all soft services, projects, moves through the service delivery team and sub contractors.
Our future challenge requires our Building Services Surveyor to redefine the service delivery with commercial savvy and attitude is just as important as experience.

Salary: £25,000 to £35,000 dependent on experience plus highly attractive package with pension and other benefits.
